Appeal after Two-Year-Old Suffers Injuries in Collision

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV/dash
cam footage after a report that a two-year-old boy was in collision with a car in Middlesbrough.

The incident took place on Friday 26th February between 7pm and 7:30pm on Ayresome Street, near to Sacred Heart RC Primary School, when a silver or grey vehicle struck the boy and failed to stop at the scene.

The boy suffered a broken leg and minor facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Anyone who may have private CCTV or dash cam footage on
Ayresome Street which may assist with the investigation is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting 031874.
