Officers investigating a serious road traffic collision are

appealing for CCTV or dashcam from one of the main routes into the town.They are appealing for members of the public to share any

footage from the morning of Thursday December 30, shortly before a collision at

6.46am, involving a female pedestrian in her 60s and a white Peugeot van on The

Spital.Police want to view footage which may show the Peugeot van

travelling into Yarm from the area of the Shell Petrol Station on Thirsk Road

(where the A67 joins Thirsk Road), up to The Spital where the collision

occurred.They also continue to appeal to anyone who

witnessed the actual incident, and hasn’t already spoken to police to call 101,

reference 220772.
