Witnesses sought after man assaulted with needle NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE

Officers investigating an assault on Laceby Road near to the Nuns Corner roundabout in Grimsby on Friday, 14 March are appealing for information and witnesses to come forward. At around 10.15am, a security guard was alerted to reports that someone was spray painting on the grounds of the college. The security guard discovered a man acting suspiciously in the area, and upon approaching the man he was allegedly assaulted with a needle. The man reportedly fled the area following the assault. The security guard was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not thought to
be serious. Following multiple lines of enquiry so far, a 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has since been released on conditional bail pending further investigation.
