Appeal for witnesses to assault – Slough

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault in Slough yesterday (30/1).

Three men approached the victim, a man in his forties, outside Tasty café on High Street at around 4.30pm.

One of the men then punched the victim in the face before leaving.

The victim suffered serious facial injuries and was taken to hospital for further treatment, where he remains.

The offender is described as white, completely bald, around 5ft 10ins tall, around 45-50 years old, and of stocky build. He was wearing a green top, dark bottoms and very white trainers.

One of the other men in the group is described as aged in his mid-twenties, around 6ft 2ins tall, with short, dark orange hair brushed forward into a spike.

The third man is described as being a little taller than the offender, with dark hair and wearing black.

PC Nicole Maynard, based at Slough police station, said: “We are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to please come forward.

“Particularly anyone with any videos or photos of the incident as it happened in a busy area, as well as witnesses so we can identify the offenders.

“Also anyone with CCTV cameras in the area or anyone with a dash-cam who was driving in the area at the time of the incident should check their recordings in case they have captured anything which could help our investigation.
