At around 8pm on Monday (27/6) an altercation occurred at

the junction by Sainsbury’s on the Oxford Road following a dispute over driving.

A man got out of his vehicle assaulted the victim, who was riding a motorcycle

and wearing motorcycle gear, by punching him in the face. A second man then got

out of another car and also assaulted the motorcyclist. The victim’s

motorbike was also kicked over.

The first offender is described as an Asian man in his late

twenties. He was driving a silver Mercedes Benz. The second offender is also described as an Asian man in

his late twenties. He was driving a grey Volkswagen Golf.

The victim sustained bruising to his face but did not

require hospital treatment.
