Investigating officer PC 6807 KELLY from the Roads Policing Unit, is appealing for anyone who was travelling on the M4 eastbound carriageway between junctions 13 and 12, between the hours of 2140hrs and 2155hrs on 10/08/2025, following a road traffic collision involving a dark grey Volkswagen Polo. Sadly, this vehicle left the carriageway before falling into the nearside verge whereby the female driver was pronounced deceased following the attendance of emergency services. A police investigation is currently underway and if anyone has any information having either witnessed this vehicle driving or can provide any dash-cam footage, then please get in touch.
