A 52-year-old man who died in a fatal collision in Barnsley last weekend has been named as Artur Shurdhi.

At 10.03am on Sunday (4 May), we responded to reports of a single vehicle collision involving a black Audi at Hunningley Lane, Barnsley.

Emergency services attended and Artur was taken to hospital, where despite the best efforts of medical staff, he sadly later died.

Artur’s family have shared the following statement: "Arturwas a loving father, he will be missed by his family and friends and never forgotten”.

Enquiries are ongoing to understand the circumstances of thecollision and we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage to come forward.
