We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision in Sheffield in which a woman was injured.
We were called to Drakehouse Lane in Beighton at 11.57am on Monday (19 May) following reports that a pedestrian had been involved in a collision with an electric bike.
An 83-year-old woman was taking to hospital for treatment for injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening. She remains in hospital. The rider of the bike reportedly left the scene, returning a short time later without the bike.
The rider of the bike, a 41-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving / riding and driving - unfit through drink / drugs. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Officers would now like to speak to anyone who saw what happened and are particularly keen to hear from anyone with relevant dashcam footage of the incident.
They are also keen to hear from anyone who may know where the electric bike has been left, or has any information about the bike.
Footage can be submitted to us here.
