Yesterday (25 June) at 8.45pm emergency services attended Centenary Way following reports of a road traffic

collision. It is reported a white Toyota Estima and a man on a mobility scooter were involved in a collision.  Officers and the ambulance service attended, and a 61-year-old-man was taken to hospital with injuries that are believed to be life-threatening.  

The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and is co-operating with officers and their enquiries.   

We are keen to hear from any witnesses who have not yet spoken to officers, or anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of the collision, or the car prior to the collision.
