Appeal after Attempted Robbery at Eston Pizza Shop

The incident happened around 00:10am at XPresso Pizza in Eston Square, Eston.
A man attended the store on a pedal cycle and made threats with what appeared to be a firearm whilst demanding cash.
The man fled the scene empty handed and was seen heading in the direction of Eston Square towards the Foundry Public House on a pedal cycle.
The suspect is described as wearing a face mask, a black jacket, grey jogging bottoms with stripes down the legs, black gloves and black footwear.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have seen the suspect in the area around the time of the incident or anyone who may have CCTV or dash cam footage which
