Appeal after Boy, 16, Suffers Injuries in Skate Park Incident

Detectives are appealing after a 16-year-old boy suffered stab wounds in a skate park in Middlesbrough.
The incident happened around 7:50pm on Tuesday 22nd July at the skate park at Middlesbrough Sports Village on Marton Road.
The boy was taken to hospital where he remains whilst receiving treatment for multiple stab injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 GBH with intent and he remains in police custody at this time. Any witnesses or anyone who may have CCTV or dash cam footage, or anyone who may have phone footage from the skate park around the time is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting incident number 137238.
