Appeal after Collision in Lazenby

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving
two vehicles on the A174 eastbound at the junction with Eston Road in Lazenby.
The collision took place around 8:40pm yesterday evening, Wednesday 25th August, involving a BMW 135i and a Mazda 2.
The 48-year-old male driver of the Mazda 2 suffered
The collision took place around 8:40pm yesterday evening, Wednesday 25th August, involving a BMW 135i and a Mazda 2.
The 48-year-old male driver of the Mazda 2 suffered
internal injuries and was admitted to James Cook University Hospital.
A 28-year-old female passenger from the BMW suffered a suspected broken wrist and ankle and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may have dash cam footage is asked to contact PC Mark Thomas on 101, quoting incident number 143556.
