Appeal after Motorbike Collision in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage following a collision in
Middlesbrough.

The collision involved a black Ford Focus and a black motorbike, and took place around 3:50pm on Thursday 19th May, on Cargo Fleet Lane opposite the junction with
Marshall Avenue.

A 35-year-old man, a passenger on the motorbike, suffered a possible broken knee and ankle
and was taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.  

The rider of the motorbike made off from the scene.  

Any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage of the collision is asked
to contact PC Jonathan Ryan on 101, quoting incident number 084839.
