Appeal after Two Vehicle Collision on Park Vale Road

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after
a collision involving two vehicles in Middlesbrough.

The collision happened around 7:50pm on Park Vale Road, on
Sunday 19th September, involving a white Mercedes C220 and a blue
Skoda Fabia.

The 20-year-old male driver of the Skoda suffered a broken
hand and was taken to James Cook University Hospital.

A 25-year-old man, who was travelling in the Mercedes, was
taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

The driver of the same vehicle made off from the scene on foot.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have CCTV or dash cam footage of the incident or the manner of driving of the Mercedes prior to the collision, is asked to contact PC Lee Benson from the Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on 101.
