Police are appealing for information and footage after a man on a pedal cycle sexually assaulted a woman whilst she was pushing a pram in the Marton area of Middlesbrough.  

The incident happened between 4:30pm and 4:40pm on Tuesday 23rd August as a young woman pushed a child in a pram on a path leading from Eagle Park/Bonnygrove Play Park towards the roundabout at Turnberry Way.  

A man on a bike approached the woman from behind and sexually assaulted her, before riding away on a dark coloured mountain bike.  The suspect is described as a white male, aged in his twenties to thirties, of average build and wearing shorts and a silver/grey coloured cycle helmet.  

Anyone who may have dash cam or private CCTV footage or anyone who may have witnessed the incident or seen the male in the area around Bonnygrove Park travelling in the direction of Turnberry Way roundabout leading onto the Fairway, is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting incident number 150506.
