Appeal Following Burglary in Stockton

Officers received a report from a member of the public at around 3pm yesterday, Thursday 11th March, regarding two men in balaclavas who had reportedly run off from the area of Corona Court in
Stockton in possession of crow bars. 

Stockton officers from CID and Response attended the scene with the Dog Unit (including PD Ty) and two males, both aged 19 years old, were arrested on suspicion of burglary dwelling with intent to
steal. Three holdalls containing suspected stolen items were recovered and a member of the public handed these in to Stockton Police Station. 

Officers would like to take this opportunity to thank those members of the public who called police with information and for handing the suspected stolen items in to police. 

Two males have been released on bail, with conditions. 

Anyone who lives in the area surrounding the incident who has private CCTV/ dash cam footage which may assist the investigation is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting 037980.
