Further Appeal for CCTV and Dash Cam Footage after Air Gun Incidents in Middlesbrough

Officers are repeating their appeal for information after three people were hit with pellets from an air gun or pistol on Trimdon Avenue in Middlesbrough on Tuesday night, 16th February.
Detectives would specifically like to ask members of the public for any dash cam footage from any motorists who may have travelled past a group of 10-15 youths, both male and female, on Trimdon Avenue

or near to the Bluebell Medical Centre and shops on Tuesday evening.
They would also like anyone with private CCTV or mobile phone footage which could assist their investigation to come forward.
Officers are following a number of lines of enquiry after calls with information were received following a public appeal issued on Wednesday.
The first incident occurred around 8:45pm, as a 56-year-old man cycled past the medical centre, and was hit on the shoulder with a pellet, leaving him with soreness.
A 28-year-old woman reported being hit with another pellet on the back around 9pm, as she ran past the medical centre.

following up on that information.
“We’d also like to appeal to anyone who may have been passing a group of 10-15 youths in the area on Tuesday evening to contact us if they may have any dash cam footage, CCTV or mobile phone footage which could assist our investigation. Footage can be uploaded direct to police without officers coming out to your house.
“These are incidents which could have ended up with people being much more seriously injured, and we don’t want something like this to happen again. I would continue to urge members of the public or parents who may have information to come forward, even anonymously via Crimestoppers.”
