Detectives are seeking to reunite stolen property with its rightful owners, after hundreds of items were recovered as part of an investigation into a series of burglaries across the UK.

Operation Ambler resulted in the conviction of five Albanian men and a British woman in relation to at least 44 burglaries across the UK.

These included incidents in Cheshire, Cleveland, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and West Mercia.

While the gang have all admitted their guilt and are currently awaiting sentence, officers have been left with hundreds of suspected stolen items which they are keen to reunite with its rightful owners.
