Appeal after Death of Woman

Police received a report of the sudden death of a 38-year-old woman at a property in Guisborough around 8:30am on Monday 18th August.
The family of the woman has been informed, and they are being supported whilst officers investigate the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death. Her death is being treated as “unexplained” whilst further enquiries are carried out.

As part of these enquiries, officers are appealing to trace a cyclist and a jogger who are believed to have been in the area of Marton Road near to the Easterside Social Club on Sunday 17th August, and who may have stopped to speak to the woman, who is described as a white female, of slim build and was wearing cream shorts and a cream hooded top and carrying a dark rucksack.
Officers are also keen to speak to anyone who may have dash cam footage between the hours of 1pm and 5pm on Marton Road, near to the Easterside Social Club.
