Appeal after Man Found Injured

Police investigating man found injured in Southbank appeal for information.

The 33-year-old man was found by members of the public in the car park on Graham Street - also known as Millbank Street at the junction of Middlesbrough Road near to the underpass towards Asda car park.

Officers and paramedics were called to the scene at approximately 5pm on Sunday 21 September.

He was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he is currently in a serious condition.

A scene is currently in place at the car park and various enquiries are ongoing to establish how the man came to sustain his injuries.

As part of the investigation, officers are appealing to anyone who has information, CCTV or dash cam footage to get in touch.

Officers are also aware of a potential rave that was taking place that afternoon and are encouraging anyone with phone footage of the area to get in touch.
