Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a collision on Trunk Road in Middlesbrough.

The incident happened around 6:20pm on Tuesday 4th March when a grey Honda Civic was in collision with a pedestrian. The vehicle stopped at the scene and the pedestrian was assisted

by members of the public.

The pedestrian, a 48-year-old man from the Redcar area, was

taken to James Cook University Hospital with a number of injuries.

He remains in hospital in a ‘stable’ condition.

Officers would like to speak to any witnesses or anyone

with dashcam footage who hasn’t already contacted police. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland
