Cleveland Police is appealing for information and any relevant footage following a collision in Norton.

Officers were called to Junction Road in Norton at around 10.10am on Saturday 27th January following reports a white Golf had collided with a garage.

It is believed a gold BMW was travelling behind the Golf and officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen either vehicle to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 015577.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop after an accident, drug driving, driving without insurance and driving without a driving licence. He was bailed pending further enquiries.
