Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious injury road traffic collision on the A420 in between Faringdon and Watchfield.

At around 3.50pm on Saturday (7/2), a three-vehicle collision occurred on a bend of the A420 involving a red Toyota Yaris, blue Seat Ateca and blue Volvo XC40.The driver of the red Toyota, a woman aged in her seventies, sustained serious, life-threatening injuries, and remains in hospital at this time.

Investigating officer PC Schulz, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this incident which has left a woman with life-threatening injuries.

“I am appealing for any witnesses to please come forward and ask any drivers who were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage to review it, as it may contain important information about the collision or the moments leading up to it.”
