At 10:17hrs today Saturday 12th OCTOBER 2024 on

the BATH ROAD A4 THATCHAM Eastbound a scrambler-style motorcycle displaying a

rear index plate was seen to undertake a long line of cars using the cycle

lane, speed towards the next set of lights and undertake a dangerous U-turn at

the crossroads of NORTHFIELD ROAD/MATTHEWS CLOSE and head westbound back

towards Newbury pulling a wheelie in the other cycle lane. Thames Valley Police

are appealing for witnesses to identify the rider, the registration plate or

any dash-cam footage.
