Appeal for CCTV and dashcam following disorder in Sheffield

At 2.25pm on Saturday (25 May) Officers responded to reports of disorder among a large group of people at Woodbourn Road in Sheffield.
It is reported that a large group of people were fighting in the street. Twenty-two people suffered injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening and remain in hospital at this time.Officers are now appealing for witnesses and anyone who was in the area at the time with information or video footage to come forward.
Chief Superintendent Simon Wanless said: “Officers have been working through the night at the scene at Woodbourn Road and carrying out extensive enquiries including CCTV trawls.“ I would strongly encourage anyone with information about the incident to come forward. If you were in the area around the time of the incident and have CCTV, video or dashcam footage, please get in touch.“
.”Twenty-five people have been arrested on suspicion of multiple violent disorder offences and are being questioned by police. Of the twenty-two people injured during the disorder, ten suffered serious injuries and remain in a stable condition in hospital. A cordon remains in place at Woodbourn Road while officers continue to conduct further enquiries.
