Yesterday (31 January) at 9.45pm we were called to Drummond Street following a collision involving a pedestrian and a black Volkswagen Golf.

Early enquiries have led officers to understand that the Volkswagen was travelling along Drummond Street, away from the Clifton area when the collision has occurred.

The pedestrian, a man aged in his 60s was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains.

The driver of the Volkswagen remained at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
