We are asking for witnesses and those with dashcam footage to come forward following a road traffic collision in Sheffield.

We were called at 12.26 am on Monday 21 September  following a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a car on upper Hanover Street.    

It is reported that a Honda Civic was involved in a collision with a pedestrian.   

Officers attended and a 18-year-old year old woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where she remains at this time.

Upper Hanover Street was closed following the incident and has now been reopened.
