We are appealing for witnesses and those with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following reports of a road traffic incident in Sheffield that has left a woman with life-threatening injuries.

At 6.32am on Friday (10 October), we were called to reports of a road traffic incident at Burncross Road, Sheffield.

It is reported that a woman in her 30s fell from a moving car on the road and suffered life-threatening injuries.

The woman remains in a life-threatening condition at hospital and her family is aware.

A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
