Last night (24 April) at 10.40pm roads policing officers responded to Saville Street East following reports of a collision involving two vehicles.

It is understood that a black Porsche Cayenne was travelling along Saville Street East away from City when it has collided with a Seat Ibiza.

The driver and a passenger within the Seat suffered minor injuries and are co-operating with our officers’ enquiries.

Two occupants of the Porsche, a 32-year-old man and a 26-year-old man suffered serious head injuries.

Sadly, the 32-year-old man died today, and our thoughts are with all those who loved him.

The 26-year-old man remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage of the collision or vehicles prior.
