We are appealing for witnesses, footage and information following a serious road traffic collision in Sheffield.

At 4.41pm on Saturday (22 November) we were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Sheffield Road.

It is reported that a collision occurred between a grey Peugeot 508 and a pedestrian just after the junction with Moorthorpe Way.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 90s who was wearing dark clothing, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. 

The driver of the Peugeot stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with enquiries.
