At 3.18pm on Sunday (26 July) emergency services responded to the junction of Western Road and Badsley Moor Road. It is understood that a black and green motorcycle, with a driver and a pillion, and a black VW Golf were involved in a collision.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 15-year-old boy, was taken to hospital, his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The pillion of the motorcycle, a 16-year-old girl, and the driver of the black VW Golf, a 30-year-old woman received minor injuries.

As our investigation into the circumstances continues, we’re urging anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to officers, or those with dashcam footage of the collision or the vehicles prior to the collision, to come forward and speak to us.
