Operation Hardhit is Warrington Police’s designated operation to target the dangerous and/or illegal use of off-road vehicles. When used illegally or dangerously these vehicles can cause damage to public and private property and in some cases can lead to serious harm, particularly when used in residential and built-up areas. 

Warrington Police are appealing for any footage in the Warrington area of incidents of off-road vehicles being used in a dangerous and/or illegal manner. Police have had success with prosecuting offenders in the Warrington area in part due to the availability of video evidence and wish to maximise our opportunities for prosecuting individuals and groups responsible.
