Numerous incidents have been reported to police over the last five months from 24th April 2025 to 7th September 2025 as well as isolated incidents on 25/03/2024 and 04/06/2024. 

Many of the incidents included paintwork to cars being damaged and residents having car their car tyres slashed. Neighbourhood Beat Manager PC 7364 WILSON said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into these reports as part of our investigation. This has resulted in a 39-year-old man from Truro being arrested in connection to the incidents. He has been released on police bail with

several conditions”.  

“We are encouraging anyone in the local area in and around Richards Crescent who may have digital images or footage of the criminal damage to their motor vehicles to send us their material”. 

“We are also keen to see any CCTV or doorbell footage of any suspicious movements in the early hours of the morning over the last six months. Any material can be sent to us via this link  quoting 50250220118.”
