We are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision in Blackpool.

We were called at about 6pm yesterday (Thursday, February 10th) after a Ford Focus collided with a pedestrian on Lytham Road.

The pedestrian, a woman in her 30s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Sgt Michael Higginson, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “This collision caused a woman some serious injuries and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has CCTV or dashcam to get in touch.”
