Merseyside Police Officers are investigating a Firearms Discharge that occurred in the Birkenhead area at approximately 20:10 hours on Saturday 3rd December 2022.

We are conducting a CCTV trawl and your cameras could significantly assist the Police.  If you have CCTV or Dashcam footage you can send this to the Firearms Investigation team via the below link. If you require a USB pen drive, we can assist with providing this to you. 

If you are able to download footage, could you please download between; 17:00 hours on 3rd December 2022 to 21:00 hours on 3rd December 2022. Please note the time difference on your system compared to real time (hh:mm:ss). MOST systems are inaccurate.  If you are unable to download the footage and require assistance, we can attend by appointment.
