On Saturday the 18th of February 2023

at approximately 21:50 hours, At the junction of HANOVER STREET Taxi Rank, near

to Lloyds Bank, L1. A Male had been waiting at a Taxi

Rank, when a Hackney Taxi pulled over an unknown suspect has assaulted the

victim, causing injury, to take the victim’s taxi.  This has understandably left the victim

shaken by this incident and they have had to receive medical treatment. People should be able to use public

transport with confidence and should not be subjected to an assault whilst
