Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious injury collision that occurred on Saturday 15th March 2025 At approximately 1145pm, a red Ford Focus was in collision with a grey Volkswagen Golf on New Wokingham Road at its junction with Merryman Drive in Crowthorne. The driver of the Ford Focus, an 18-year-old male from Crowthorne was taken to Frimley Park Hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries where he remains. The female passenger of the Golf, a 32-year-old female from Crowthorne was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with serious but life threatening injuries where she remains. The driver of the Golf did not remain at scene and Police enquiries are continuing to trace him. PC Ben Taylor of the Roads Policing Unit based at Three Mile Cross said this was a serious Road Traffic Collision that has left two people with serious, potentially life changing injuries. I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or the manner of driving of either vehicle prior to the collision to make contact with Police quoting reference 43250127850.
