At around 10am on Saturday (19/9), a 23-year-old man from Kent was involved in a collision while riding a motorcycle during an open session at Flackwell Heath Moto Park, Heath End Road.

The rider sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he sadly died on Monday (21/9).

No other riders or vehicles are believed to have been involved.

An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the collision and officers are appealing to anyone who was at the track at the time to come forward.

Lead investigating officer DI Phil Turner-Robson said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the young man who has sadly died at this extremely difficult time.

“We are carrying out enquiries to understand exactly what happened and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident, or the moments leading up to it, to please get in touch.

“The session was open to a number of riders and spectators and we believe there may be people who were present who have not yet spoken to police.

“If you have any information that could assist our investigation, including photographs, videos or helmet camera footage from the track that day, please contact us.”
