Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses to an

assault that happened on Saturday the 10th August 2024 at around 2pm

on the Swing Bridge at Tyle Mill, Sulhampstead.  A male has got onto a canal boat and punched the female

victim in the face causing her nose to bleed. This assault was unprovoked and

the female was punched by the man in front of her two young children.  The man then ran off toward the Wishing Well Pub on the A4.  The man is described as 6ft tall, stocky build

with a bear belly, short brown hair with a receding hair line. He was wearing a

red t-shirt, and cargo style shorts.
