At around 0215 hours on Saturday 10th January 2026 there was a fatal collision on the A4142 Eastern Bypass Road, between Risinghurst and Horspath Driftway. Two vehicles, a Ford Fiesta and a Hyundai Ioniq, and a pedestrian, were involved in the collision. Sadly, the pedestrian, an 80-year-old man died of his injuries. Police are appealing for any witnesses or drivers that may have dash-cam of the collision or were on that section of road between 0200- 0220 hours on the 10/01/2026 to get in contact.
