Tesco Car Park Footage Request

An incident of kidnap occurred at 1400hrs on Saturday 27th OCTOBER 2024 in the car park of Tesco, Wallingford Road, Didcot.
The victim, a woman in her fifties, was arguing with the suspect, a male in his fifties, and trying to get out of a White Nissan Juke Visia. The female was in the front passenger seat
and the male in the driving seat. As the female tried to exit the vehicle the male forced her back into the car, then drove away out of the car park.
The male has since been arrested and bailed from custody whilst the investigation
continues, the female is safe and well.
Investigating officer DC 980 Michael HOPCROFT, said:
“I am appealing for any witnesses to this kidnapping incident to please come forward. We are specifically appealing to anyone who was in the car park at the time of the offence who might have witnessed this incident or may have dash cam footage of the event. We are
also appealing for any witnesses who might have witnessed the woman and male in
the vehicle, or the vehicle itself, whilst it was in transit after leaving the car park.
