We are appealing for information, witnesses and footage after a road traffic collision in Sheffield earlier today (Wednesday 2 July).

Officers were called to Manchester Road in the Stocksbridge area of Sheffield following reports of a single vehicle collision that took place around 12.20am this morning.

It is reported that a silver Kia Ceed was involved in a collision with a wall.

A 16-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the vehicle, suffered serious injuries.

A 31-year-old woman, who was driving the Kia, and three other 16-year-old boys who were passengers in the vehicle, suffered minor injuries.

A road closure remains in place at the scene of the collision, which happened near the junction with Ashfield Road.

We are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision and anyone with any relevant information to get in touch.

We are also keen to hear from anyone with CCTV, doorbell and dashcam footage that could help our officers with their enquiries.
