We are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision in Sheffield which has sadly now turned fatal.
On Friday 29 November at 7.25pm, we were called to a road traffic collision on Suffolk Road at the junction with Granville Road.
It is reported that a car had been in collision with a pedestrian. It is understood the vehicle, a red Lexus, was travelling on Suffolk Road in the direction of Queens Road when it was in collision with a 36-year-old man as he crossed the street.
The man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He has now sadly died and his family is being supported by officers.
We are now appealing for witnesses and are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dash-cam footage which could help our investigation.
