We are appealing for information, footage and witnesses following a single vehicle collision on Nursery Road in the North Anston area of Sheffield which has left a man with life-threatening injuries. 

We were called at 9.36am on Sunday (21 December) to reports of a rider of an E-bike who had lost control and fallen from the bike. 

Sadly the rider, a 43-year-old man, suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision. He was taken to hospital where he remains at this time. 

Officers attended the scene and closed the road to carry out further enquiries. The road was reopened shortly after 2pm on Sunday. 

We are now appealing for anyone with information about this collision to get in touch with us. We

are particularly keen to hear from anyone with relevant dashcam footage in the moments prior to the collision or anyone who witnessed the collision and is yet to contact us.
