We are appealing for witnesses following a reported assaulton Whitman Road.

On Saturday 23 August at 1.42pm, we were called to reportsof violence outside Nottingham House on Whitman Road.

It is reported that at around 1.20pm man was pushed into theroad and suffered minor injuries in the fall.

He is also alleged to have beencalled a racial slur.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers would like to speak toanyone who witnessed the incident or who has CCTV or dashcam footage that mayhave captured the incident.
