We’re appealing for witnesses and anyone with footage or information to come forward and assist with our investigation into a road traffic collision in Rotherham.
On Friday (25 April) at 2.12pm, we responded to reports of a collision on Link Road in the Thrybergh Area involving a black electric motorcycle and a black Mitsubishi L200 pickup truck.
A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital with injuries that are believed to be life-threatening. He remains in hospital at this time in a critical condition.
A 27-year-old man remained at the scene to assist officers with their enquiries and was arrested at the scene. He has since been released on police bail.
We are keen to hear from any witnesses to the collision that we have not yet spoken to, and anyone who was in the area who may have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage.
