We’re appealing for witnesses and anyone with footage or information to come forward and assist with our investigation into a road traffic collision in Barnsley.

On Saturday 22 February at 2.30pm, roads policing officers responded to a collision involving a cyclist and a white Jaguar XE on Jockey Lane at the junction with Coates Lane.

The cyclist, aged 33, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he remains.

Officers are keen to hear from any witnesses to the collision that they have not yet spoken to, and anyone who may have dashcam footage prior to the collision, to understand the circumstances.
