A woman in her 40s has sadly died following a fatal collision in Chapeltown, and as roads policing officers investigate, we’re urging anyone with footage or information to come forward.

Yesterday (3 September) at 4.16pm, officers on patrol came across a road traffic collision involving a white Fiat 500 at a roundabout on Thorcliffe Road. The driver, a 46-year-old woman who was the only person inside the vehicle, was taken to hospital with serious injuries where, despite the best efforts of medics, she sadly died. Her family has been informed and is being supported by family liaison officers.
