Footage sought following Rotherham collision

We are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam footage to come forward following a collision in Rotherham.

At 6.03pm on Thursday (5 March) we were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Centenary Way in Rotherham.

It is reported a grey VW Golf was involved in a collision with a cyclist.

The cyclist, a 17-year-old boy, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the Golf, a 26-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and other traffic offences.
