We are appealing for information following a Barnsley collision that has left a woman with life-threatening injuries.

On Sunday (15 March) at 10.44am, it is reported that a red Renault Clio was involved in a collision with an 88-year-old woman on Pogmoor Road.

The woman was taken to hospital where she remains with serious injuries that are believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the Renault remained at the scene and is assisting officers with enquiries.

We are now appealing for any witnesses to the collision, or those with relevant dash cam or CCTV footage, to come forward.
